Why one-time?
Notesmesh runs on your Mac. Local AI, local storage, no servers between you and your notes. There's no recurring cost on our side, so we're not going to invent one for you.
You buy 1.0, you own 1.0. Major versions cost again, only because real new features take real new work.
Questions
When does it ship?
v1.0 in Q2 2026. Founder-edition buyers get a TestFlight-style early build the week 1.0 enters release-candidate.
What if it doesn't ship on time?
14-day no-questions refund window after each shipped build. When pre-orders open at launch, they're refundable any time before 1.0 enters release-candidate.
Setapp?
Coming. Setapp users will get notesmesh as part of their Setapp subscription. Direct buyers stay on lifetime; Setapp pays us a separate revenue share. No conflict.
iPhone or iPad?
Not in 1.0. v2.0 plans an iOS companion that reads/writes the same Apple Notes you already have. v1.0 buyers get the v2.0 upgrade at half price.
Privacy?
Your notes never leave your Mac. AI search runs locally. The license server only sees your email and your license key.
